How it works

One Partner API token in, a full subscription ledger out — rebuilt from what Shopify actually records.

1 · Connect the Partner API

Create a Partner API token with View financials and Manage apps permissions and paste it in. That's the whole setup — no SDK in your app, no webhook to host.

2 · We rebuild the ledger

Shopify reports charges and app events, not metrics. We walk the charge lifecycle — subscriptions opening, renewing, changing plan, cancelling — and reconstruct MRR, churn and trials from it, updated every day.

3 · Watch the trends

Twelve months of history in one table: MRR, active subscriptions, new trials, cancellations, plan changes, churn rate, installs and net revenue, month by month.

What's included

  • Live MRR with month-over-month movement
  • Monthly churn rate, flagged when it crosses 10%
  • New trials, cancellations and plan changes per month
  • Installs tracked alongside revenue, in the same table
  • Net vs gross revenue — including exactly what Shopify kept in fees
  • 12 months of history, refreshed automatically every day
  • Every figure available over the API & MCP server for your own dashboards

Why ours is different

Shopify does not publish your MRR or churn — every tool showing them is reconstructing them from the Partner API charge lifecycle, whether it says so or not. We say so, in the product and in the API response. When a number is rebuilt rather than reported, it's labelled that way — the same honesty rule that keeps our keyword demand figures labelled as indices instead of invented search volumes.

Close the loop

Revenue is the last step of a funnel that starts in App Store search.

When MRR moves, the question is why. Listing analytics shows whether installs changed first, and keyword tracking shows whether a ranking shift changed the installs. Three products, one causal chain — position, listing, revenue.

March · after the pricing change

Churn 4.1% → 2.8% in two months

“What did churn do after the pricing change in March?” — the kind of question the month-by-month table answers at a glance, and the MCP server answers in plain English.
